Information on traffic accidents is probably not available (as far as I can see) because it is very easily monetisable data. Would be incredibly useful to have information for identifying patterns in traffic accident blackspots and be able to improve insurance for drivers.

Also found an interesting letter from the CEO of Tomtom in the form of their Traffic Manifesto > https://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/trafficmanifesto/ > states that when they reach 10% saturation with their product it will essentially have a balancing effect > which is a good argument for making the data open> save money by negating the need for expensive projects.
